What You'll Be Able To Do
AI can draft a requirement in seconds — and sound completely confident while getting it wrong. It can cite a standard that doesn't exist, embed a bias from its training data, or quietly drop a security requirement because the context window overflowed. The real skill is not using AI. It is knowing when to trust it, when to challenge it, and when to fall back on your own engineering judgement.
Differentiate among AI technology types and identify the right one for a given RE task.
Explain what happens behind the scenes of a chatbot, and compare fine-tuning with RAG.
Explain that LLMs are probabilistic text predictors, not reasoning systems.
